The bit behind the tiles is the bit that matters

Behind the tiles, a bathroom reno is plumbing, drainage, floor structure and waterproofing, and in an older home, a fair bit of the unknown until you open it up. Moving a bathroom to a better spot means reworking all of that under an existing roof.
